Job summary

Ababil Healthcare in Karnataka is seeking a motivated Medical Devices Sales Representative to promote and sell our medical devices to hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, diagnostic centers, and healthcare professionals across Bidar, Belgaum (Belagavi) and Gulbarga (Kalaburagi).

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a good understanding of the healthcare/medical device industry, and the ability to build lasting relationships with doctors, procurement teams, and institutions.

Qualifications

• Graduation in Science/Pharmacy/Life Sciences; pharma background preferred.
• Diploma/Degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences adds advantage.
• Freshers with strong communication skills welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell medical devices to hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and diagnostics centers.
• Build and maintain relationships with doctors, procurement teams, and institutions.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through field visits and referrals.
• Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
• Demonstrate products and provide technical information to healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate with distributors and dealers to ensure product availability.
• Handle customer queries and after-sales support with the service team.
• Maintain records of sales visits and interactions; report regularly.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and result-driven Medical Devices Sales Representative to promote and sell our range of medical devices/equipment to hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, diagnostic centers, and healthcare professionals across Bidar, Belgaum, and Gulbarga. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a good understanding of the healthcare/medical device industry, and the ability to build lasting relationships with doctors, distributors, and institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell medical devices/equipment to hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and diagnostic centers within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, surgeons, procurement teams, and other key decision-makers.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through field visits, referrals, and networking.
• Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets set by the organization.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical information to healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate with distributors, stockists, and dealers in the region to ensure product availability.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and after-sales support in coordination with the service team.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, visits, and customer interactions (daily/weekly reports).
• Stay updated on competitor products, market trends, and new developments in the medical devices industry.
• Participate in medical conferences, camps, and exhibitions as required.

Key Requirements

Education

• Graduate in any discipline (Science/Pharmacy/Bio-medical background preferred).
• Diploma/Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field is an added advantage.

Experience

• 1–8 years of experience in medical device sales, pharmaceutical sales, or healthcare-related sales.
• Freshers with strong communication skills and willingness to learn are welcome to apply.

• Self-motivated with a target-driven approach.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel for reporting.

Other Requirements

• Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license (preferred for field travel).
• Willingness to relocate/travel within Bidar, Belgaum, and Gulbarga districts.

Compensation & Benefits

• Fixed Salary: 2.5 LPA – 6 LPA (based on skills and experience)
