Job summary

Prime Medical Center in Chennai is seeking an experienced outpatient medical coder to assign accurate diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS codes. You will review electronic health records and paper charts to identify services rendered and ensure coding accuracy.

You will work with providers to resolve discrepancies, maintain patient confidentiality, and comply with regulatory coding standards.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of outpatient medical coding experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS Level II codes.
• CPC/CCS certification preferred.
