Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a capable engineer to act as a technical bridge between Playout systems and the business for migrations and issue resolution. You will lead testing for InetSat Playout Systems, focusing on Playlist testing, media testing, graphic configuration, and coordinating Dual-Run workflows.

You will collaborate with the EMEA & APAC teams on data modelling for Promo/2nd Events, campaign management for short form, and ensure smooth data flow across the supply chain,

Qualifications

• Experience with InetSat Playout Systems Migration or similar applications.
• Playlist Interface Testing experience and related tooling.
• Ability to develop scripts for workflows in a live media environment.
• Assistance with data migration for BMS workflows.
• Experience in a fast-moving broadcast environment with changing specs.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical bridge between Playout and business for migrations and issue resolution.

• Engage with the business to implement end-to-end analyses from recommendations to testing.

• Identify gaps and provide workarounds to maintain output consistency.
• Collaborate with QA to capture/workflow documentation for product testing.

Job description

• Act as the technical bridge between Playout and the Business when it comes to migrations and help resolve issues that stem from either side.
• Lead testing with our Playout system InetSat, especially when it comes to Playlist testing and Media Testing alongside Graphic configuration and coordinating Dual-Run workflows
• Support the EMEA & APAC Territory with regards data modelling and structures for Promo/2nd Events and campaign management for short form.
• Engage with the business around commercial sales workflows, Implementation for interfacing with External clients, including everything from Analysis to Implementation and Testing
• Ensuring data flow throughout the supply chain allows for linear and non-linear content out to consumers
• Identifying gaps and providing workarounds where possible for the business to maintain consistency in output
• Working with quality assurance team to ensure workflows are captured and properly document for quality testing of product.

• Minimum 3 year’s experience in development / engineering role
• Understanding of SQL Programming and other Databases
• Solid understanding of XML/XSL/JSON and other data formats
