Zoom Communications in Gurugram, Haryana, is seeking a Broadcast Engineer to install, integrate, operate and maintain broadcast systems for live sports and events, with strong knowledge of end-to-end workflows and live production.
The ideal candidate has 4+ years in broadcast engineering, a relevant engineering degree, and proven experience handling national and international live events; willingness to travel and collaborate across teams.

Broadcast Engineer is responsible for the installation, integration, operation, and maintenance of broadcast systems supporting live sports and event productions. The role requires strong knowledge of end-to-end broadcast workflows, system integration, and live production environments
The Broadcast Engineer must possess proven expertise in at least two of the following engineering disciplines:
Independently perform the role of Shader/Vision Engineer/CCU Operator for National and/or international broadcast events.
Ensure consistent picture quality through camera shading, colour matching, iris control, and CCU operations throughout live productions.
Independently manage communication systems for live broadcast productions.
Configure and support Wired & Wireless Intercom Systems, Partyline & Matrix Systems, IFB, Four-Wire Circuits, Trunking, GPIO Interfaces, Remote Connectivity, and third-party communication integration.
Independently deploy and manage RF Camera Systems during live events.
Perform RF frequency planning, spectrum coordination, antenna selection, channel allocation, bandwidth management, and troubleshoot RF links during production.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot EVS replay systems.
Support server configuration, network connectivity, system redundancy, server replacement, and uninterrupted replay operations during live broadcasts.
Independently engineer medium-scale productions comprising 8–12 broadcast camera chains.
Plan, install, commission, troubleshoot, and successfully execute live productions while coordinating with Production, Technical Managers, Audio, Graphics, RF, EVS, Logistics, and third-party vendors.
Install, configure, commission, and troubleshoot broadcast systems independently.
Ensure complete engineering readiness, system stability, and redundancy before live production.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues with minimal operational downtime.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of broadcast equipment.
Coordinate effectively with production, engineering, logistics, and technical support teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Ensure proper handling, packing, transportation, loading, unloading, and storage of broadcast equipment in accordance with Company SOPs.
Maintain accurate engineering documentation, equipment records, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Adhere to engineering best practices, operational procedures, and safety standards during installations and live events.
Minimum 4 years of experience in Broadcast Engineering, Live Production, or Broadcast System Integration.
Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
Demonstrated experience in independently handling engineering responsibilities for National and International live broadcast events.
Strong understanding of complete broadcast workflows, signal flow, SD/HD/3G/12G/UHD broadcast standards, fiber optics, routing, monitoring systems, and system integration.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel extensively for work.
