Sugna Sponge & Power Private Limited in Tadipatri, Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh is seeking a Shift Incharge / Engineer - Mechanical for the DRI 650 Plant. The role focuses on reliable operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment to support safe production.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience and a BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with hands-on expertise in rotary kilns, gearboxes, hydraulics and SAP/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance in a steel/spong iron plant or similar manufacturing environment.
• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required, with relevant training or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
• Maintain Rotary Kiln, Cooler, Conveyors, Crushers, Gearboxes, Pumps, Fans and Hydraulic systems.
• Coordinate shutdown planning and execution.
• Reduce equipment downtime and improve reliability.
• Monitor spare parts and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with Operations and Electrical departments.
• Ensure safety, SOP and statutory compliance.
• Lead technicians, fitters and contract manpower.

To ensure reliable operation and maintenance of all mechanical equipment in the DRI-650 plant, minimizing breakdowns and supporting safe production.
