Job summary

Skillventory is seeking an experienced mechanical design lead for automotive products in Pune. You will drive design to validation, creating switches, knobs, push buttons and related components using CATIA V5.

Collaborate with customers and suppliers and manage cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery. The role requires hands-on CATIA work, a strong background in automotive switches, and knowledge of DFMEA, GD&T, and tooling considerations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Automotive R&D / Product Development.
• Strong CATIA V5 experience in 3D modelling and 2D detailing.
• Hands-on experience in Automotive Switches is preferred.
• Experience in Sunroof / Instrument Cluster / Telematics / Infotainment / HMI is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of plastic part design, injection moulding, APQP, DFMEA, GD&T and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead automotive mechanical product development from design to validation.
