Job summary

ShaktiPunj Engineers is seeking a mechanical design professional with 6–10 years of experience in an industrial design office. The role focuses on piping and instrument drawings, CAD layouts and isometrics for steam and water lines, with BOM preparation responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks and piping software, and comfortable using Windows 10 and MS Word to document designs and specifications.

Qualifications

• Must have Diploma/Graduate Engineer.
• Experience: 6–10 years in mechanical design office (industrial).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Windows 10, MS Word, Piping Software and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Understand Piping & instrument (P&ID) drawings for steam & water lines.
• Draw piping layout in CAD (2D) & 3D for steam & water lines.
• Draw Isometric drawings referencing piping layout.
• Prepare water & steam layout with complete nomenclature and symbols.
• Prepare BOM for all pipe, fittings, instrument, supports, insulation & cladding.

Job description

Qualification: Diploma / Graduate Engineer.

Past Job profile: Must be working in Mechanical Design office (Industrial).

Experience: 06-10 years.

Software Knowledge: AutoCAD, Windows 10, MS Word, Piping Software, Solid works.

Expected Salary: between 30K to 45K.

Job Requirement:

1. Should be proficient in understanding Piping & instrument (P&ID) drawing for steam & water lines,
2. Should be able to draw piping layout in CAD (2D) & 3D for both steam & water lines,
3. Should be able to draw Isometric drawing with reference to piping layout,
4. Should be able to prepare water & steam layout with complete nomenclature and symbols of fittings and
5. Preparation of BOM for all pipe, fittings, instrument, supports, insulation & cladding.
