Job summary

Earn Modes in Pune is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to assemble and fault-find on mechanical equipment including sewage fixtures and material handling systems. The role is full-time at work location Pune with hands-on supervision and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The candidate should have ITI or diploma or equivalent, with ability to perform pneumatic assembly and follow assembly procedures. Prior exposure to conveyors is a plus.

Qualifications

• ITI or diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in mechanical assembly and fault-finding.
• Knowledge of pneumatic assembly is a plus.
• Ability to supervise and adhere to safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fault-find on mechanical equipment including sewage fixtures and material handling systems.
• Lead with safe working practices to ensure zero lost time injuries.
• Supervise personnel while performing hands-on work.
• Ensure standard work practices and procedures are followed.
• Attend safety meetings and carry out safety observations.
• Assist in controlling consumables and tooling to minimise wastage.
• Assist in daily timesheet reviews from shop floor personnel.
• Ensure Corporate Engineering Standards are met.
• Understand assembly procedures and perform pneumatic assemblies.

• ResponsibilitiesBe able to swiftly and comprehensively assemble and fault-find, rectify problems on mechanical equipment including sewage Fixtures and Material Handling Systems, conveyor systems.
• Take the lead with safe working practices to ensure superior levels of safety and housekeeping are obtained – achieve zero lost time injuries in workshop.
• Supervise personnel, while working hands on to execute assigned work to required standards.
• Ensure standard work practices and procedures are followed.
