Job summary

JobItUs is seeking a Mechanical Execution Engineer to oversee the reliable design and hands-on execution of process plant equipment at site. The role requires ensuring on-time delivery within budget, coordinating with engineers, vendors and subcontractors to install pumps, piping, boilers and utility equipment for large-scale manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical execution.
• Experience with process plants and large-scale manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute process equipment installation including pumps, piping, centrifuges, boilers, chillers and utility equipment at sites.
• Manage projects with budgeting, costing and on-time delivery, coordinating with stakeholders.
• Prepare technical specifications and review vendor drawings for mechanical works.
• Develop and follow engineering standards, scopes of work, materials and equipment.
• Ensure project execution aligns with P&ID, PFDs and instrumentation diagrams.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation and subcontractor management.

Role Purpose

Ensure reliable and maintainable mechanical design for process plants.

Key Responsibilities

• Execution of process equipment’s at site – formulation equipment, Pumps, Piping, centrifuge, Boiler, Chiller, Utility equipment for large-scale manufacturing,engineer must be hands on all installations and manufacturing equipment.
• Project Management, Project budgeting and costing, execution of projects etc.
• Managing Relationships with Key Stakeholders
• Execution of piping and equipment is as per P&I Diagram, and experience in Installation and Commissioning.
• Preparation of Technical specs, review of vendor documents / Drawings for Mechanical works.
• Define, evaluate and prepare engineering standard, scope of work, materials and equipment for the projects.
• Project execution as per required Utility and infrastructure design, Process Flow Diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, Specify process equipment, Process Control and Automation.
• Project execution - oversee all aspects of the building process, working closely with engineers and architects to develop plans, establish timetables, and determine labor and material costs.
• Responsible for ensuring the project is completed on budget and within scope. They also hire and manage subcontractors and employees, gather permits, and ensure all aspects of the project.
• The main Project execution responsibilities are overall project planning, distributing resources, time management, risk management, creating benchmarks, managing the budget, managing staff, and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans and are able to use these as a benchmark to track overall progress.
• They must develop a comprehensive project plan, track the progress of this plan, and effectively communicate the plan with employees and clients.
