Job summary

Dynamic Staffing Services invites an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead design works for industrial valves used in power, oil and gas projects. You will prepare specifications, datasheets, MTOs and participate in supplier reviews and FAT/SAT activities.

You should have strong English communication, a collaborative mindset and deep knowledge of ASME/ASTM/API/EN valve standards. Willingness to travel and work abroad when required is expected.

Qualifications

• B.Sc or B-tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering work experience in major mechanical equipment and systems.
• Knowledgeable in ASME, ASTM, API and EN valves standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical design works for all industrial valves used in power, oil and gas projects.
• Prepare material requisitions, technical specifications, datasheets and MTO lists for all types of industrial valves.
• Review and approve suppliers' technical proposals and manufacturers' documentation.
• Review PID drawings and piping class specifications.
• Act as the technical interface with Clients and third parties.
• Coordinate inter-disciplinary document reviews and FAT/SAT activities.

Role & responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical design works for all industrial valves used in power, oil and gas projects.
• Prepare material requisitions, technical specifications, datasheets and MTO lists for all types of industrial valves
• Review and approve suppliers technical proposals
• Review and approve manufacturers technical documentation (drawings, sizing calculations, datasheets, material and test certificates, etc.)
• Review of PID’s and piping class specifications
• Exchange the information with the other engineering disciplines and coordinate the inter-disciplinary documents reviews and other related engineering works jointly developed
• Be the technical interface and focal point with Clients and other 3rd Parties
• Attend Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Sc or B-tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of engineering work experience about major mechanical equipment and systems
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of MS Office programs
• Strong communication skills, team worker
• Analytical thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic, self motivated, positive and energetic
• Ability to work in harmony with other engineering disciplines
• No restriction to travel and stay abroad when needed
• No military obligation for male candidates
• Knowledgeable in all types of industrial valves for isolation, control and relief functions, as well as valve actuation systems and materials
• Experienced in selection of valves and materials for diverse industrial applications and process conditions
• Familiar with major international standards of ASME, ASTM, API and EN associated with design, materials and testing of valves.
