Job summary

Balajee Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specialized in structural erection for RMHS in a refinery EPC project. The role focuses on planning, supervision, and execution of structural steel erection and heavy equipment installation in line with approved drawings, project specs, and HSE standards.

The candidate should be proficient in reading GA, fabrication and erection drawings, and have experience with alignment, grouting and torque tightening, with knowledge of AutoCAD and Primavera/MS

Qualifications

Role & responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineer Structural Erection is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing structural steel erection and mechanical installation activities for the Raw Material Handling System (RMHS) in a refinery EPC project. The role ensures safe, timely, and high-quality execution of structural and equipment erection in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and HSE standards.

Preferred candidate profile

Structural steel erection and heavy equipment installation.

• RMHS equipment including crushers, conveyors, vibrating screens, feeders, transfer towers, and hoppers.
• Reading and interpretation of GA drawings, fabrication drawings, isometric drawings, and erection drawings.
• Alignment, grouting, bolt torque tightening, and mechanical inspection.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and Primavera/MS Project is preferred.
