MAL RESEARCH Corporation in Bengaluru is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for its New Product Development engineering team. The role requires strong engineering fundamentals, experience with OEM components, and proficiency in CAD tools.
The ideal candidate will design mechanical subsystems for Semiconductor Wafer Fabrication tools and collaborate across various teams to ensure production-ready solutions. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.
We are looking for a strong Mechanical Engineer to join the WETS New Product Development (NPD) team. This role requires strong engineering fundamentals, the ability to independently solve mechanical engineering problems, and experience with OEM fluid and pneumatic components and plastic materials.
The engineer is expected to design subsystems from concept through qualification using minimum guidance, proactively manage technical risks using FMEA and structured problem‑solving methods, and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including Product Support and Supply Chain to ensure robust, production‑ready solutions.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on‑site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On‑site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On‑site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on‑site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1‑2 days per week on‑site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
