Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services in Bangalore is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, test and validate mechanical systems for railway products. You will work on master controllers, earthing switches for VCBS, and related equipment, creating 3D models, drawings and BOMs using CAD tools.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (M.E./M.Tech preferred).
• 810 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and development for railway or heavy engineering products.
• Proficiency in 3D/2D CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components for railway products such as Master Controllers, Earthing Switches for VCBs, and other related equipment.
• Create and review 3D models, drawings, and BOMs using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, etc.).
• Work closely with the Electrical, R&D, and Production teams to ensure smooth integration of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Perform tolerance analysis, material selection, and design validation as per industry and railway standards.
• Support prototype development, assembly, and testing of mechanical sub-systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for fabrication, machining, and quality assurance of mechanical parts.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and design reports.
• Provide on-site technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning when required.
