Key Purpose of the Job
- To carry out all needed activities for the development of TBU and its related components as a part of product engineering activities.
- Carry out all needed activities within the portfolio to achieve exceptional results through personal effectiveness, partnering with others & building customer loyalty fulfilling their needs in an efficient & effective manner.
Profile of the Job Holder
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering stream.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and a casting background.
- 5-8 Years of relevant functional work experience, preferably from Railway domain.
- Individual contributor who exemplifies “Doing things correctly” and “Right from me”.
- Highly motivated and self‑initiator with strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work within a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.

- Awareness of design automation, map keys, UDFs, Pro‑Programming, Pro‑Toolkit.
- Expertise in creating templates, Part & Assembly detailing.
- Experience in creating Parametric BOM, symbols.

- Experience resolving failures (e.g., reorder, redefine, reroute).
- Proficiency in using Windchill or any PLM (2 to 3 years).
- Experience using advanced search options.
- Association between CAD documents and product structure (WT Part, EPM Doc, WT Doc).
- Understanding of lifecycle states and workflow followed.
- Awareness of attribute descriptions in Windchill.
- Proficiency in applying GD&T / Geometric Product Specification (GPS).
- Good knowledge of engineering drawing dimension & tolerancing.
- Good understanding of usage of datums in GD&T/GPS.
- Basic rules of tolerance stack‑up analysis.
- Skill to perform 2D tolerance stack‑up analysis for parts.
- Knowledge of materials, heat treatment & finishing operations.
- Understanding of material behavior in static and dynamic conditions.
