Job summary

Orbit & Skyline, Inc. is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to create and update CAD models and part drawings. You will work collaboratively with other engineers to enhance semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of electrical and mechanical engineers.
• Develop and update component specification sheets and drawings.
• Prepare and present design reviews for approvals.
• Perform FMEA and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Track project progress and publish weekly reports to stakeholders.

Skills

Proficiency in NX/Creo CAD

Strong knowledge of sheet-metal, machined, and plastic parts

Understanding of manufacturing processes

Mechanical Engineer - CAD & FMEA

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to create and update part and assembly drawings, produce CAD models, and support engineering solutions for our semiconductor customers.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of electrical and mechanical engineers.
• Develop and update component specification sheets, part/assembly drawings, and CAD models.
• Prepare and present design reviews for approvals.
• Perform FMEA and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Identify and implement best practices to improve efficiency in Engineering/PLM/CAD processes.
• Track project progress and publish weekly reports to stakeholders.

Eligibility Criteria

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1–3 years of experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficiency in NX/Creo CAD.
• Strong knowledge of sheet‑metal, machined, and plastic parts.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Good to Have:

• Experience with ERP and PLM (SAP, Teamcenter, or similar).
• Basic understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack‑up.
• Involvement in obsolescence activities and electromechanical assemblies.
• Knowledge of FEA using Ansys or similar.
• Concept design skills.
• Hands‑on experience in Creo.
