Job description

The Mechanical CAD Engineer will support product development activities by creating accurate,3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using Creo and AutoCAD. The role includes sheet metal design, weldment design, and basic mechanical design calculations to ensure safe, reliable, and manufacturable products.

Required Skills:

• 1. Strong working knowledge of Creo and AutoCAD
• 2. Experience in sheet metal design and weldment/fabrication drawings
• 3. Knowledge of motor selection, gearbox/gear selection, and bearing selection
• 4. Understanding of power transmission elements (shafts, couplings, belts, chains)
• 5. Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, sheet metal)
• 6. Knowledge of GD&T, fits, and tolerances
• 7. Ability to perform basic mechanical design calculations
• 8. Good coordination and communication skills
