Job summary

Cadsaga Consultancy Services seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead driveline concepts and develop CAD models for gearboxes, axles, and shafts using Creo 8.0.

The role requires hands-on Creo, DFMEA and GD&T knowledge, drawing release for manufacturing, and collaboration with manufacturing and quality teams during proto development.

A BE in Mechanical Engineering is preferred and experience with casting, forging, machining, and sheet metal processes is advantageous.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Hands-on Creo 8.0 experience with modeling, assembly, and drafting.
• Knowledge of DFMEA and GD&T is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design gearboxes, axles, and shafts.
• Conceptualize new products using Creo 8.0.
• Create and update CAD models and drawings for driveline components.
• Perform gear and bearing calculations.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and quality teams during proto development.
• Apply DFMEA and ECN/ECR processes.

Role & responsibilities

Knowledge of gearbox or axle or shaft design

Conceptualize new products using Creo 8.0

Hands-on knowledge of CREO 8.0 is must. Modeling, Assembly, Drafting.

Conceptual layout and design of driveline aggregates.

Making and updating of CAD models and drawings of housings, gears, assembly level and other related parts of driveline.

Drawing checking and release for manufacturing.

Knowledge of engineering calculation for gearbox parts.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes like casting, forging, machining & sheet metal etc.

Knowledge of DFMEA is required.

Working knowledge of ECN, ECR and BOM creation.

Benchmarking of existing product.

Interact with manufacturing, quality and other team during proto development.

Shall have GD&T, DFMEA working knowledge
