Job summary

Wehark Solutions Chennai in Bengaluru URSC & ISRO Centres seeks a Mechanical AIT Engineer to lead mechanical assembly, integration and testing for small satellites. The candidate should have BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering with first class and 65%+ (CGPA 6.85) and relevant aerospace/SAT AIT experience.

Responsibilities include reading CAD models, handling precision components, metrology, bonding, tanks/plumbing, TIG welding support, QC and documentation. URSC/ISRO Centre exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering, First Class, minimum 65% or CGPA 6.85
• Experience: Relevant Aerospace / Defence / Satellite AIT experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform spacecraft mechanical assembly and integration activities.
• Read and interpret 3D CAD models and mechanical drawings.
• Handle precision mechanical and structural components.
• Carry out mechanical connectivity, alignment, levelling and metrology.
• Perform/support bonding, instrumentation layout and assembly activities.
• Handle tanks, plumbing lines and electro-mechanical valves.
• Support TIG welding and mechanical inspection activities.
• Perform mechanical QC using inspection and verification tools.
• Prepare technical documentation, data tables and reports.
