Job summary

Tema India Pvt Ltd. in Mumbai is seeking a Diploma/ITI Mechanical professional to handle drawing activities across basic, detail, commissioning and construction stages.

You will apply ASME codes and CAD standards to deliver accurate drawings, coordinating with design teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include monitoring hours vs plan, setting new standards and checklists quarterly, and proposing new software/tools in consultation with design leadership.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical engineering.
• 4 to 8 years of relevant drawing/engineering experience.
• Knowledge of ASME and other fabrication codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform drawing activities across basic, detail, commissioning and construction phases.
• Monitor hours utilized vs allocated against progress.
• Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of drawings.
• Set new standards, formats, and checklists to improve efficiency quarterly.
• Identify new areas for development and software needs with design leadership.

Job description

• Perform all Drawing activities covering all engineering phases from basic, detail, commissioning, and construction according to the contractual requirements.
• Monitor hours utilized against hours allocated along with the progress made.
• Perform the drawing activities with the required correctness in a stipulated time allotted.
• Must have adequate knowledge to perform the expected drawing activities in the required manner within stipulated time.
• Setting new standards / formats / check lists for improving efficiency in routine work. For every quarter one check and necessary action is required.
• Identifying new areas for development to survive in the competitive world. For every six months one check and necessary action is required.
• Identifying new software requirements in consultation with design chief / GM Design / Design HOD and IT expert.
• Must have knowledge of ASME & other fabrication codes
• Must have knowledge of Auto CAD all version, Excel, etc
• Preferred candidate working in company manufacturing fabricated equipment i.e. Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Columns, etc.
