Job summary

CIEL HR is seeking a Mechanical Draughtsman for an off-roll 12-month renewable contract in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The role requires hands-on drafting experience with AutoCAD (2D) and Creo (3D), plus a Diploma in mech/auto/production.

Key tasks include tooling design for grinding and assembly machines, supporting NPD activities, and collaborating with process engineers to improve tooling concepts and reduce costs. Sunday off with general shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Auto/Production with knowledge/experience in AutoCAD drafting.
• Experience with Creo (3D) and AutoCad (2D) is essential.
• 6 months to 2 years of relevant drafting experience in manufacturing or precision industry.
• Good hand on experience with Creo or equivalent (3D) and AutoCAD (2D).

Responsibilities

• Tooling, master/gauge designing and drafting for grinding and assembly machines.
• Support NPD development activities.
• Collaborate with Process Engineer in tooling design, development, validation, and handover.
• Formulate new design concepts and improve existing tooling to reduce costs.

Experience: In Tool drawing & Drafting form MFG. or Precision Industry. Candidate must possess good hand on experience on Creo or equivalent (3D) software and Auto cad or equivalent (2D) software.

Education: Diploma (2/3/4-year course - Mech./Auto/Prod) with Knowledge/Exp. in Auto-cad command/drafting. (Exp. range: 6 months to 2 years). Certified course for Creo or equivalent (3D) software and Auto cad or equivalent (2D) software from a good institute a must.

Key Purpose/Skill of the Job:

• 1. Expert in Auto cad Mechanical 2020.
• 2. Creo Basic Knowledge.
• 3. Basic knowledge of Grinding & machining process, assembly process.
• 4. Good knowledge of Engineering Drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Tooling, Master/Gauge Designing & Drafting for Grinding & Assembly machine.
• 2. To Support NPD Development activities.
• 3. Participate along with Process Engineer in Tooling design, development, validation, and handover.
• 4. Formulate new design concepts and improve in existing tool design to achieve tooling cost reduction.
