Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draughtsman with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in creating comprehensive technical drawings and possesses strong practical experience in site execution. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and construction by ensuring that detailed drawings are accurately translated into on-ground reality.

Key Responsibilities

• Detailed Drafting: Prepare comprehensive, precise, and highly detailed construction documents, including shop drawings, floor plans, sections, and elevations.
• Site Execution & Coordination: Actively coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and contractors to ensure drawings are implemented correctly and troubleshoot on-site technical discrepancies.
• Design Translation: Convert architectural concepts and engineering markups into clear, actionable drawings ready for execution.
• Revisions & As-Built Updates: Quickly adapt and modify existing drawings based on site changes or feedback, and generate final as-built drawings upon project completion.
• Quality Control: Ensure all drafts comply with structural requirements, safety standards, and project-specific guidelines.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience as an AutoCAD Draughtsman in the architecture, engineering, or construction sector.
• Core Expertise: Mandatory experience with site execution workflows and producing detailed execution/shop drawings.
• Software Skills: Expert proficiency in AutoCAD (2D is mandatory; basic 3D knowledge is an advantage).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong ability to read and interpret complex architectural and structural drawings.
• Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and clear communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
