Job summary

Siemens in Chennai is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our global team. You will create and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using Siemens NX, while supporting design activities across the product lifecycle.

You will develop manufacturing-ready designs, perform design validation, and manage CAD data in Teamcenter. The role requires 2–3 years of mechanical engineering experience, strong fundamentals, and good communication across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in mechanical design.
• Basic knowledge in Electrical Products, MV/LV switchgears.

• Strong proficiency in: Part Modeling, Assembly Design
• Drafting, 3D Modeling.
• Experience with Teamcenter-managed environments.
• Good understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and design aptitude.
• You are characterized by a high level of communication readiness, analytical skills, team orientation, resilience, and social competence.
