Job description

Ducom Aerospace specializes in space, defense, drones, and robotics. Our products are used by leading organizations around the world, including ISRO, NASA, US Army, US Navy, US Air Force, Northrop Grumman, LEOS, BRAHMOS, and others. This position will be in a new division of the organization specializing in robotics, automation and sensing.

Your Role

You will work within a fast‑paced technical team handling the development of advanced robotic and sensing products. This position will be a hands‑on engineering role with plenty of room for creativity and growth.

Work Experience

• Must have a solid background in SolidWorks
• A strong grasp of GD&T, manufacturing and finishing processes is required
• Experience designing Special Purpose Machines (SPM), Robots or other complex/heavy machinery is preferred
• Work experience of at least 5 years is a must

Responsibilities

• Design and development of electromechanical systems for automation, testing, and measurements
• System, sub‑system detailing, and DFM and DFA reviews
• Participating in hands‑on product integration
• Analyze system performance and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Prepare documentation, including calculations, simulations, assembly guides, purchase lists, ISO and AS compliance documents, etc.
• Participate in project reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) is required
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
