Qualifications

  • 58 years of experience in mechanical design and design support.
  • Hands-on experience with Creo and Siemens NX.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and product development processes.
  • Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, sheet metal, welding, casting, and assembly.
  • Proficient in GD&T with practical application experience.
  • Good knowledge of ASME Y14.5 standards.
  • Familiarity with AWS welding standards and interpretation of welding symbols.
  • Ability to prepare and review engineering drawings, 3D models, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience in design reviews, tolerance stack-up, and resolving manufacturing/design issues.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional manufacturing and quality teams.
  • Exposure to PLM/PDM systems.
  • Experience in engineering change management (ECN/ECR).
