RGBSI in India seeks an experienced mechanical design professional with 58 years of deep expertise in mechanical design and support. The role emphasizes hands-on Creo/Siemens NX work, GD&T, and strong collaboration with manufacturing and quality teams to drive robust product development.

The ideal candidate can review drawings and 3D models, manage design reviews, and ensure adherence to ASME Y14.5 and welding standards within cross-functional environments.

Qualifications

• 58 years of experience in mechanical design and design support.
• Hands-on experience with Creo and Siemens NX.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and product development processes.
• Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, sheet metal, welding, casting, and assembly.
• Proficient in GD&T with practical application experience.
• Good knowledge of ASME Y14.5 standards.
• Familiarity with AWS welding standards and interpretation of welding symbols.
• Ability to prepare and review engineering drawings, 3D models, and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience in design reviews, tolerance stack-up, and resolving manufacturing/design issues.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional manufacturing and quality teams.
• Exposure to PLM/PDM systems.
• Experience in engineering change management (ECN/ECR).
