Job summary

AASNAA Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with at least 5 years of MEP experience to lead HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting design for diverse building projects.

The candidate should show strong hands-on expertise and coordinate with architectural, structural and other disciplines, preferably with GCC project exposure. The role requires delivering design calculations, layouts, and technical submissions while ensuring compliance with international codes and project

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in MEP Mechanical Design.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting design.
• Familiarity with international codes and standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC/UPC.
• Saudi Arabia / GCC project experience is preferred.
• Ability to independently manage mechanical design from concept to detailed design.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and work with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems for various building projects.
• Prepare design calculations, equipment selections, layouts, schematics and documentation.
• Develop and review MEP drawings and models.
• Perform HVAC load calculations and use design software.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural teams.
• Review drawings for compliance with codes and project requirements.
• Support preparation of BOQs, specifications and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve design issues.
• Review and check drawings prepared by junior engineers/designers.

AASNAA Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP design and engineering. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting system design, preferably with exposure to Saudi Arabia / GCC projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineering of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems for commercial, residential, hospitality, industrial and other building projects.
• Prepare design calculations, equipment selections, layouts, schematics and technical documentation.
• Develop and review MEP drawings.
• Prepare and reviewMEP models and drawings;
• Perform HVAC load calculations and system design softwares.
• Prepare hydraulic calculations and fire protection system designs using softwares.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural, structural and other disciplines.
• Review drawings and designs for compliance with applicable codes, standards and project requirements.
• Support preparation of BOQs, specifications and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with project teams and resolve design and coordination issues.
• Review and check drawings prepared by junior engineers/designers.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in MEP Mechanical Design.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting design.
• Knowledge of relevant international standards and codes such as ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC/UPC and applicable project/client requirements.
• Saudi Arabia / GCC project experience is preferred.
• Ability to independently handle mechanical design from basic design through detailed design.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work within project deadlines and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Candidate

• Candidates currently working on Saudi / GCC projects or with previous Saudi project experience will be preferred.
• Candidates with experience in consultancy/design engineering firms will be preferred.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.
