Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in Plumbing, PHE and Firefighting systems design.
• Gulf Design projects experience is preferred.
• Expert Revit proficiency; AutoCAD and Navisworks familiarity.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA, IPC, UPC, ASHRAE and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver mechanical discipline design packages for Plumbing and Firefighting systems.
• Prepare detailed designs and 3D models using Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, water demand calculations, pump sizing, and firefighting-system calculations.

Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in Plumbing (PHE) and Firefighting systems, with strong expertise in Revit-based design for building services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality design outputs, ensuring compliance with project requirements, standards, and QA/QC procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Mechanical discipline design packages for Plumbing and Firefighting systems in accordance with project scope, specifications, and timelines.
• Prepare detailed design layouts, schematics, and 3D models for PHE and Firefighting systems using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, water demand calculations, pump sizing, firefighting system calculations, and other relevant engineering assessments.
• Conduct peer reviews of engineering designs to ensure quality output aligned with company QA/QC procedures.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams (architectural, structural, electrical, and project management) to ensure seamless design integration.
• Ensure compliance with National and International engineering codes and standards, as well as relevant Gulf region authority guidelines.
• Identify design risks, propose mitigation measures, and support technical decision-making during all project phases.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and CAD/Revit technicians.
• Prepare and review technical reports, design documentation, and material specifications.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required to Execute this Role

• B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 10+ Years of experience with Plumbing, PHE, and Firefighting systems design.
• Experience on Gulf Design projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Plumbing, PHE, and Firefighting systems design.
• Expert-level proficiency in Revit, with good working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Proven experience delivering designs for Gulf-region projects (preferred).
• Excellent understanding of applicable codes and standards (NFPA, IPC, UPC, ASHRAE, local authority regulations, etc.).
• Strong analytical, calculation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple design tasks and meet deadlines with high-quality output.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
