Job summary

Merritt Innovative Solutions India Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop sheet metal components using Autodesk Inventor. You will prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings for fabrication.

The role requires knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, BOM, and DFM, and involves coordinating with manufacturing, fabrication and quality teams to ensure designs meet project specs, quality standards, and timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Autodesk Inventor.
• Good knowledge of Sheet Metal Design and Fabrication.
• Experience in Heavy Engineering / Heavy Industries / Manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, BOM, and DFM.
• Understanding of mechanical components and manufacturing processes.
