Job summary

Cadzone is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for Bangalore/Tumkur to develop and draft mechanical components. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks, with familiarity in GD&T and manufacturing processes.

Diploma in Mechanical or BE/BTech is preferred, and candidates must be local to Karnataka or willing to relocate to Tumkur/Bangalore. The candidate will read drawings, create precise CAD drawings, and coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical is preferred; BE/BTech acceptable.
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Exposure to manufacturing processes and tooling theories.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D drawings and 3D concepts for mechanical components.
• Draft and modify CAD drawings to meet manufacturing feasibility.
• Collaborate with production and QA teams to ensure design integrity.

Designation- Mechanical Design Engineer (Bangalore/Tumkur)

Job Description-

Experience

• a) 1 to 6 years preferably from Motor, Generator and Pumps Industry (Rotating Equipment)
• b) Good Knowledge of drawing reading and drafting
• c) Good knowledge of basic mechanical engineering.

Tool

• a) Expert in AutoCAD ( 2D only)
• b) Automation using AutoCAD
• c) Solid Works

Location

• Bangalore (Tumkur, Nelamangala Taluk, Dobbaspet)

Qualification

• Diploma in Mechanical (Preferred) / B.E / B.Tech

Selection Criteria

• a) Face To Face Tool-Test and interview at the Clients Location
• b) Sound knowledge of Drawing Reading.
• c) Exposure in manufacturing processes, GD & T.
• d) Only local candidates ( Bangalore ) and/or candidates from Karnataka, and candidates willing to relocate to Tumkur need to apply.
• e) Proficiency in English is a must and local language would be an added advantage.
• f) Preference to those who can join early/immediately.

Other Details:

• i) This is a Third Party Role” that means the selected Candidate Shall be on the Payroll of CADZONE and shall be deputed at Client’s Location in Dobbaspet/Tumkur/ Bangalore
• Salary not a constraint for candidates with right skill set.
