Job summary

Faldu Gaurav Nathabhai in Rajkot is seeking a skilled mechanical designer to create 3D parts and assemblies using SolidWorks and to prepare 2D manufacturing drawings and GA layouts for furnace projects.

You will design sheet-metal components, furnace enclosures, structural frames, and mechanical assemblies, while generating BOMs, cutting lists and material take-offs. Collaboration with production teams is essential to ensure manufacturability and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 13 years of experience in SolidWorks and mechanical design.
• Strong knowledge of 3D modelling, assemblies and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Understanding of sheet-metal design, fabrication, welding and structural components.
• Experience in preparing GA drawings, BOMs and material take-offs.
• AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage.
• Experience in industrial machinery, furnace manufacturing or fabrication equipment preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and teamwork.
• Willingness to work full-time at our factory in Khirasara GIDC, Rajkot.
