Job summary

HEATWAVE FURNACE in Rajkot, Gujarat, invites a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our factory team. You will create 3D parts and assemblies in SolidWorks, and prepare comprehensive 2D drawings for manufacturing, fabrication and assembly.

Focus areas include sheet-metal components, furnace enclosures, and structural frames. The role requires extensive experience with GA drawings, BOMs, and material take-offs, plus ensuring designs meet our standards and are manufacturable.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 13 years of experience in SolidWorks and mechanical design.
• Strong knowledge of 3D modelling, assemblies and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Practical understanding of sheet-metal design, fabrication, welding and structural components.
• Experience in preparing GA drawings, BOMs and material take-offs.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
• Experience in industrial machinery, furnace manufacturing or fabrication equipment preferred.
• Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail and team work.
• Willingness to work full-time at our factory in Khirasara GIDC, Rajkot
