Job summary

Zentron Labs in Bengaluru, Karnataka seeks a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to drive design of mechanical components across product lines. You will collaborate with assembly and procurement to streamline development and translate market needs into robust designs.

You will conduct design reviews, optimize for ruggedness and cost, and address production issues with timely resolutions. Prior experience with SPMs and shop-floor operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical design and product development lifecycles.
• Strong understanding of material properties for engineering applications.
• Exposure to selecting mechanical OEM components and materials.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the mechanical design team to ensure mechanical components of company products are designed on a timely fashion.

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands-on familiarity with 2D and 3D software design tools.
• Understanding of various materials and their properties as well as usage of specific materials for specific uses.
• Exposure on mechanical OEM component selection.
• Experience in working with Special Purpose Machines
• Experience in working in shop floor environment
