Job summary

OMS Business Digitalisation Pvt Ltd seeks a domain expert with hands-on experience in mechanical and chemical testing laboratories to shape OMS for accredited labs. You will validate test workflows and ensure ISO/IEC 17025 compliance, aligning OMS with real lab processes.

You will collaborate with engineering and product teams, support NABL/NATA onboarding, and contribute to product documentation. Bengaluru-hybrid role with broad exposure to labs across India.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on lab experience in mechanical or chemical testing.
• Familiar with tensile, hardness, impact, fatigue, spectroscopy, titration or chromatography.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and NABL/NATA processes.
• Experience with test reports, uncertainty budgets, and acceptance criteria.
• Clear English written and spoken communication.
• Ability to translate lab workflows for software teams.

Responsibilities

• Validate OMS test record templates against real mechanical and chemical test method requirements.
• Support customer demos and onboarding sessions for ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing laboratories
• Review NABL and ISO/IEC 17025 compliance workflows from a practitioner's perspective
• Contribute to acceptance criteria setup, method-specific report formats, and product documentation
• Act as the internal subject matter expert for mechanical and chemical testing product decisions
• Assist the sales and pre-sales team in technical conversations with testing lab buyers

Job description

We're looking for a domain expert with hands-on experience in mechanical and/or chemical testing laboratories to help shape OMS for accredited testing labs. You'll work directly with our engineering and product teams to validate test record workflows, ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, and make sure OMS reflects how testing actually happens on the lab floor - not how a developer guessed it does.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a mechanical or chemical testing laboratory
• Familiarity with common test methods - tensile, hardness, impact, fatigue, spectroscopy, titration, chromatography, or similar
• Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements and NABL or NATA assessment processes
• Experience with test report preparation, uncertainty budgets, or acceptance criteria in a lab context
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• Ability to translate lab workflows and compliance requirements clearly for software engineering teams
• Experience in a NABL-accredited or NATA-accredited testing lab preferred
