Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Mech. Fabrication Manager for Ferrules & related components in Mumbai. The role requires extensive HM fabrication experience, coordinating cutting, forming, fit-up and welding, while ensuring WPS compliance and quality standards.

The incumbent will supervise inspections, NDT testing, documentation and timely dispatch of fabricated parts, coordinating with QA/QC, design and site teams to meet project quality and safety targets.

Qualifications

• 13-20 years of experience in heavy fabrication and HM works.
• Experience with gates, penstocks, trash racks, embedded parts and associated welding.
• Knowledge of welding procedures, stage inspections and NDT testing.
• Ability to supervise dimensional control, alignment and distortion management.
• Excellent documentation of fabrication records, logs and inspection reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise fabrication sequences for HM components.
• Coordinate cutting, forming, fit-up and welding with QA/QC, design and site teams.
