Job summary

Simfluent is seeking an MDM Platform Engineer to own end-to-end data modeling for the MDM ecosystem, including the warehouse and middle layers. You will drive data governance, data quality, and accuracy of identifiable information across stakeholders, while delivering modular code and automation.

You will integrate data from disparate sources, monitor performance, and support incident responses to uphold SLAs and data security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or related field with strong problem-solving ability.
• Experience collaborating across teams and delivering end-to-end projects.
• Desirable experience with MDM and PII data.

Responsibilities

• Own E2E data modeling for the MDM system including warehouse and middle layers.
• Manage data governance, data quality, and accuracy of identifiable information.
• Develop, test, and deliver modular software that meets business objectives and automation needs.
• Integrate data from disparate sources ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Monitor and optimize system performance for scalability, reliability, and security across systems.
• Support production incidents to meet SLAs.

Role Overview

As an MDM Platform Engineer, you will be able to understand the E2E data flow that is being followed by the MDM ecosystem. You will play a key role in understanding and developing holistic features and solutions with the help of the architect that will enable a more integrated ecosystem where the MDM takes data from different sources and becomes the real source of truth across the company. Data engineering skills will allow you to do data modeling inside of the MDM as well as the warehouse whenever this is required to stage the information for analytical purposes. Automation, scripting, and basic architectural knowledge are desirable.

Responsibilities

• E2E Data Modeling Owner for everything related to MDM (Including Warehouse and Middle Layers).
• Owner of the Data Governance, Data Quality, and Accuracy of Identifiable Information across the different MDM stakeholders.
• Develop, test, and deliver modular extensible software code that meets business objectives and automation.
• Work to integrate data from disparate sources, ensuring data quality and consistency throughout the MDM system.
• Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure scalability, reliability, and security of the upstream, customer data service, and downstream systems.
• Support production incident responses to ensure our SLAs are met.
