Job summary

Qloron Pvt Ltd is seeking a seasoned MDM Architect to design and implement enterprise Master Data Management strategies and roadmaps. • Experience defining MDM strategy, governance models, stewardship processes, and business requirements.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise MDM platforms (as listed) and data governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and establish enterprise MDM strategy, framework, and implementation methodology.
• Identify master data domains with business stakeholders and define data requirements.
• Lead MDM discovery workshops and business process discussions.
• Design enterprise MDM operating models, governance processes, stewardship workflows, and data ownership models.
• Define data quality standards, business rules, matching strategies, survivorship rules, and Golden Record methodology.
• Collaborate with architects and business teams to develop scalable MDM solutions.
• Drive end-to-end MDM implementation from design through production support.
• Define integration approaches between MDM platforms and ERP/CRM/Data Warehouse/cloud platforms.
• Establish data governance processes, metadata management, and data lifecycle practices.
• Create functional specs, process docs, roadmaps, and governance docs.

Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Architect with experience in designing and implementing enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of MDM principles, methodologies, governance frameworks, and operating models, with the ability to define enterprise-wide MDM processes, business requirements, and implementation roadmaps. While experience with MDM platforms (such as Informatica MDM, Reltio, SAP MDG, Semarchy, etc.) is desirable, the primary requirement is expertise in establishing MDM strategy and best practices rather than proficiency in a specific tool.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and establish enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) strategy, framework, and implementation methodology.
• Work with business stakeholders to identify master data domains (Customer, Product, Vendor, Supplier, etc.) and define master data requirements.
• Lead MDM discovery workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and business process discussions.
• Design enterprise MDM operating models, governance processes, stewardship workflows, and data ownership models.
• Define data quality standards, business rules, matching strategies, survivorship rules, and Golden Record methodology.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, data architects, and business teams to develop scalable MDM solutions.
• Drive end-to-end MDM implementation initiatives from solution design through deployment and production support.
• Define integration approaches between MDM platforms and enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, Data Warehouse, and cloud platforms.
• Establish data governance processes, metadata management, reference data management, and data lifecycle practices.
• Create functional specifications, process documentation, implementation roadmaps, and governance documentation.

Required Skills

• Experience facilitating business workshops and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK or other industry MDM/Data Governance best practices.
• Experience with Data Stewardship processes and operating models.
• Exposure to Apache Spark, Kafka, Databricks, or modern data engineering platforms.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Relevant MDM or cloud certifications.
