Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an Engineer/Senior Engineer – Formwork Execution in India to plan, supervise, and monitor formwork activities on the project site. You will coordinate with tower teams to ensure efficient installation, cycling, dismantling, and maintenance of formwork systems including Aluminium formwork, conventional formwork, safety screens, and ACS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil) – Mandatory
• Minimum 5 years of experience in high-rise building construction with formwork systems
• Experience with formwork systems in tall structures is required

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, alignment, and dismantling of formwork systems at site.
• Ensure proper execution of formwork activities for columns, walls, beams, slabs, and shear walls.
• Monitor daily formwork operations and coordinate with tower execution teams.
• Track formwork cycle time for slabs and vertical elements.
• Coordinate with planning teams for formwork scheduling and tracking.
• Provide technical guidance regarding formwork installation and structural requirements.
• Ensure formwork systems are installed as per safety guidelines and manufacturer recommendations.

Role Overview

The Engineer / Senior Engineer – Formwork Execution will be responsible forplanning, supervising, and monitoring formwork activities at the project site. The role involves coordinating with tower execution teams to ensureefficient installation, cycling, dismantling, and maintenance of formwork systems including Aluminium Formwork, Conventional Formwork, Safety Screen Climbing Systems, and Automatic Climbing Systems (ACS).

Key Responsibilities

Formwork Execution

Superviseinstallation, alignment, and dismantling of formwork systems at site.

Ensure proper execution of formwork activities forcolumns, walls, beams, slabs, and shear walls.

Monitordaily formwork operations and coordinate with tower execution teams.

Formwork Systems Management

Work with different formwork systems including:

Conventional Formwork Systems

Safety Screen Climbing Systems

Automatic Climbing Systems (ACS)

Ensure correct assembly and safe operation of climbing and protection systems.

Cycle Time & Productivity Monitoring

Trackformwork cycle time for slabs and vertical elements.

Coordinate with tower teams to ensuretimely shifting and reuse of formwork materials.

Identify productivity issues and support improvements in formwork operations.

Technical Coordination

Coordinate withTower Incharges, Engineers, and Supervisors for proper sequencing of formwork activities.

Provide technical guidance regardingformwork installation and structural requirements.

Resolve technical issues related toformwork alignment, shuttering, and cycling.

Safety & Quality Control

Ensure formwork systems are installedas per safety guidelines and manufacturer recommendations.

Conduct regular inspections to ensurestructural stability and dimensional accuracy.

Ensure compliance withproject quality standards.

Material & Inventory Monitoring

Monitorformwork material usage and availability at site.

Ensure properstorage, maintenance, and handling of formwork components.

Report material damage, shortages, or repair requirements.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain records offormwork cycle progress, usage, and site activities.

Preparedaily and weekly progress reports related to formwork execution.

Coordinate with planning teams forformwork scheduling and tracking.

Technical Skills Required

Strong understanding offormwork systems used in high-rise construction

Hands-on experience in:

Conventional Formwork

Safety Screen Climbing Systems

Automatic Climbing Systems (ACS)

Ability to readstructural drawings and shuttering layouts

Knowledge offormwork cycling and high-rise construction sequencing

Proficiency inMS Excel and AutoCAD

Preferred Skills
