Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru seeks a finance analyst to assist in developing and maintaining financial models for budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning, performing variance analysis, and providing insights to management.

You will prepare detailed reports for senior leadership, collaborate with business units, monitor KPIs, develop MIS dashboards, ensure data integrity across systems, and support automation and integration of reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models for budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes.
• Conduct variance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to provide insights and recommendations to management.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior leadership, including monthly financial performance reviews and ad hoc analyses.
• Collaborate with business units to understand their financial needs, providing support and guidance on budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitor financial performance and KPIs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial goals.
• Develop, implement, and maintain MIS reports and dashboards to track key business metrics and performance indicators.
• Analyze data from various sources to provide insights and recommendations for operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
• Work with IT and finance teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across financial systems and reports.
• Support the development and enhancement of financial systems and tools, including automation of reporting processes and integration with other business systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to financial systems and reporting tools, coordinating with relevant stakeholders as needed
