Job summary

PrepMed NEET is seeking a full-time Maths Faculty for on-site teaching in the Greater Kolkata Area. The role focuses on delivering NEET-aligned mathematics instruction, creating lesson plans, and guiding students through live classes and doubt-clearing sessions.

Candidates should have minimum 3 years of teaching experience for classes 7–12, strong Mathematics knowledge, and the ability to engage diverse learners. Laptop is mandatory, and familiarity with basic educational technology is preferred.

Responsibilities

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Maths Faculty position based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Maths Faculty will design and deliver engaging lessons in Mathematics and related subjects aligned with the NEET curriculum and PrepMed’s academic standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, creating practice questions and tests, explaining concepts through examples and problem-solving sessions, and clarifying doubts in live classes and doubt-clearing sessions. The role involves contributing to curriculum improvement, collaborating with other faculty members and academic coordinators, and monitoring student performance through regular assessments and feedback. The faculty member is also expected to support recorded and live online content as needed, maintain academic discipline, and participate in workshops or training to continuously enhance teaching effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Strong subject expertise in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics suitable for NEET-level preparation.
• Working knowledge of Physics and Statistics to support integrated problem-solving and interdisciplinary concepts.
• Experience or interest in Curriculum Development, including designing lesson plans, question banks, and assessments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Prior teaching or coaching experience for NEET, JEE, or other competitive exams is highly desirable.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly, use varied teaching methods, and engage diverse learners.
• Comfort with basic educational technology tools for presentations, content creation, and student communication.
• Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a learner-centered approach to teaching.
