Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited is seeking passionate and academically strong Subject Matter Experts in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry to join our Academic Team in India (Kerala). The role focuses on developing, reviewing, and quality‑assuring high‑quality JEE and NEET content and questions.

The SME will create questions across varying levels of difficulty, ensure alignment with syllabi and exam patterns, and provide accurate explanations and solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
• Excellent subject knowledge and conceptual clarity.
• Strong ability to design and evaluate examination‑oriented questions.

Responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality JEE/NEET questions in Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
• Create questions across basic, moderate, advanced, and application‑based difficulty levels.
• Ensure questions align with JEE/NEET syllabus and examination pattern.
• Prepare accurate solutions, explanations, answer keys, and supporting content.
• Review and validate questions created by faculty, content developers, and other contributors.
• Perform quality checks for conceptual accuracy, calculation accuracy, language and clarity, relevance, and difficulty level.
• Review existing question banks to identify errors, outdated questions, duplicates, and gaps.
• Analyse PYQs and exam trends to identify important concepts and patterns.
• Support faculty in resolving subject queries and in content improvement and syllabus planning.

We are looking for passionate and academically strong Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry to join our Academic Team.

The SME will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and quality-assuring high-quality academic content and questions for JEE and NEET examinations . The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent conceptual clarity, and the ability to create and evaluate questions across different difficulty levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality JEE/NEET questions in Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
• Create questions across basic, moderate, advanced, and application-based difficulty levels .
• Ensure questions are aligned with the prescribed JEE/NEET syllabus and examination pattern .
• Prepare accurate solutions, explanations, answer keys, and supporting academic content .
• Review and validate questions created by faculty, content developers, and other academic contributors.
• Perform quality checks for:
• Conceptual accuracy
• Calculation accuracy
• Language and clarity
• Relevance
• Difficulty level
• Review existing question banks and identify errors, outdated questions, duplicates, and content gaps .
• Analyse previous-year questions (PYQs) and examination trends to identify important concepts and question patterns.
• Support faculty and academic teams in resolving subject-related academic queries.
• Provide inputs for content improvement, syllabus planning, and academic strategy .
• Identify gaps in existing academic content and recommend improvements.
• Support the standardisation of question-setting and content-review processes .

Requirements

• Strong academic background in Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry .
• Excellent subject knowledge and conceptual clarity.
• Strong ability to design and evaluate examination-oriented questions .
• Good understanding of JEE/NEET examination patterns and syllabus .
• Ability to develop accurate solutions and clear explanations.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Relevant experience in teaching, academic content development, question-setting, or examination preparation will be preferred.

Good to Have

• Experience in EdTech content development.
• Experience working with question banks or LMS platforms.
• Familiarity with LaTeX and mathematical/scientific notation.
• Experience in academic content quality assurance.
• Knowledge of content analytics and student performance data.
