Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of inventory and materials management processes.
  • Experience with coordinating inventory software and logistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory levels to ensure a steady flow from supply chain to manufacturing.
  • Manage staffing and performance of materials management workers and labor relations.
  • Define and maintain optimal stock levels; analyze inventory and advise on stock adjustments.
  • Coordinate maintenance and support for inventory management software.

Role Definition

Maintains agreed-upon inventory levels to provide a flow of raw materials and components from the supply chain to the manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that the environment of the inventory stock room is in line with requirements for each product.
  • Managing staffing, development, and performance management of materials management workers. Ensuring proper labor relations.
  • Defining and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Performing inventory analysis and making recommendations for stock levels.
  • Coordinating maintenance and support of inventory management software.
Degree Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

  • Logistics Management: Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.
  • Performance Management: Knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance.
  • Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Supply Chain Management - MFG: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.

This position requires working onsite five days a week.
