Job summary

Careerwise in Bengaluru, India seeks a Master Data Specialist to strengthen our master data across the organisation. This hands-on role covers data creation, enrichment, quality, governance, and alignment with business needs.

You will work with Finance, HR, Sales and IT to implement data standards, support ERP/CRM migrations, and drive data-driven decision making using Power BI and Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience in Master Data Management, Data Stewardship, and Data Quality.
• Hands-on with data profiling, cleansing, and governance.
• Familiar with ERP/CRM data and migrations.
• Proficiency with Power BI and advanced Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 and/or Salesforce.
• Ability to gather requirements and work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, enrich, and manage master data and hierarchies.
• Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and exception handling.
• Support CRM, ERP, and MDM implementations and migrations.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Commercial, Risk, Legal, IT and Data teams.
• Profile data and perform root-cause analysis for data issues.
• Establish data governance standards and business rules.

Master Data Specialist

A global professional services and consulting organisation is investing significantly in its enterprise data capability and building stronger foundations around Master Data Management, Data Quality and Data Governance.

They are looking for a Master Data Specialist to join the team and help establish trusted, high-quality master data across the organisation.

This is a hands-on role covering:

• Master data creation, maintenance, enrichment and hierarchy management
• Data quality, cleansing, reconciliation and exception management
• Data stewardship and governance
• Gathering and documenting business/data requirements
• Improving data processes, controls and standards
• Supporting CRM, ERP and MDM implementations and migrations
• Data profiling, root-cause analysis and operational reporting
• Working closely with Finance, HR, Commercial, Risk, Legal, IT and Data teams

We're particularly interested in candidates with experience across:

• Master Data Management / Data Stewardship / Data Quality
