Job summary

HireVedaX is seeking a Master Data Associate on a contract basis to manage Material and Production Master data in SAP environments. The role focuses on accurate data creation, maintenance, and validation, contributing to data quality, governance, and ongoing cleansing activities.

You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues, ensure data consistency, and support operational data integrity in a global, fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
• 2-3 years of experience in SAP ECC, SAP/Oracle Master Data Management, data governance, or data operations.
• Hands-on with Material Master Data and Production Master Data in SAP environments.
• Experience with BOM / SAP PP master-data objects.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or supply-chain environments.
• Strong MS Excel data-analysis, validation, and reconciliation skills.

About The Role

We are looking for a Master Data Associate / Contract Worker to support accurate creation, maintenance, and validation of Material and Production Master Data within SAP environments.

This is an execution-focused role requiring hands-on experience with Material Master and Production Master data objects. You will contribute to data quality, governance, operational excellence, and ongoing data-cleansing activities.

Key Responsibilities

Master Data Operations

• Perform hands-on creation, maintenance, and validation of Material Master and Production Master data in SAP / S4HANA environments.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data across relevant views.
• Execute data-correction and data-cleanup activities as part of ongoing operations and transformation initiatives.
• Support master-data quality and governance activities.

Collaboration & Support

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data-related issues.
• Communicate data issues clearly and support timely resolution.
• Contribute to operational data-quality and integrity initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in SAP ECC, SAP/Oracle Master Data Management, data governance, or data operations.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Material Master Data
• Production Master Data
• BOM / relevant SAP PP master-data objects
• Experience supporting manufacturing or supply-chain environments.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP master data objects.
• Understanding of Master Data Management concepts, processes, and governance.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis, validation, and reconciliation.
• Ability to analyze data issues and maintain high standards of data accuracy and quality.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Exposure to SAP MDG or SAP TM.
• Experience with data-governance frameworks or data-quality tools.
• Exposure to workflow-based master-data management systems.
• Experience in pharma, biotech, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
