Job summary

TalentRupt Inc. is seeking an experienced MDM Lead to drive global master data operations from the India GCC.

You will manage master data across customer, supplier, item/material, location, and financial domains, strengthen governance, and partner with business and IT stakeholders to enhance data reliability. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business admin, data management or analytics is required.
• At least 5 years of MDM or data governance experience, incl. 1–2 years in lead capacity.
• Strong understanding of MDM principles, lifecycle controls, stewardship, governance.
• Experience with ERP master data, preferably Oracle Fusion, across Finance, Supply Chain, customer, supplier, item, or location domains.
• Strong SQL, Excel, reporting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading testing, validation, issue resolution, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead India-based MDM specialists, set priorities, and coach team.
• Execute MDM operating strategy aligned with global standards and data governance policies.
• Oversee master-data creation, enrichment, validation, approval, and lifecycle management across in-scope domains.
• Monitor service levels, data-quality measures, backlog, aging, change-request turnaround, and recurring issue patterns.
• Define and enforce data standards, stewardship practices, controls, approval paths, and documentation requirements.
• Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Service, Operations, IT, data owners, and system owners to resolve complex data issues.
• Support Oracle Fusion rollouts, enhancements, integrations, testing, migration, and location or chart-of-accounts cleanup where master data is affected.
• Coordinate with compliance, audit, risk, privacy, and security stakeholders on data controls and evidence requirements.
• Improve MDM platforms, workflows, reporting, and integration processes; support ETL and data-quality automation.
• Maintain domain definitions, data dictionaries, SOPs, issue logs, root-cause analysis, and governance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coach India-based MDM specialists, establish priorities, and build capability through structured knowledge transfer and feedback.
• Execute the MDM operating strategy in alignment with global standards, business priorities, and data-governance policies.
• Oversee master-data creation, change, enrichment, validation, approval, and lifecycle management across in-scope domains.
• Monitor service levels, data-quality measures, backlog, aging, change-request turnaround, and recurring issue patterns.

• Strong understanding of MDM principles, lifecycle controls, stewardship, data quality, governance, and enterprise data structures.
• Experience with ERP master data, preferably Oracle Fusion, across Finance, Supply Chain, customer, supplier, item, or location domains.
• Strong SQL, Excel, reporting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading testing, validation, issue resolution, and process improvement across multiple systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Informatica MDM, SAP MDG, IBM InfoSphere, or a comparable enterprise MDM platform.
• Experience with Power BI, Looker, data integration tools, cloud data platforms, or data lakes.
• Knowledge of privacy, security, audit, and regulatory expectations relevant to enterprise data.
• CDMP, CIMP, data governance, or related professional certification.
• Experience in a GCC, shared services, or global delivery environment.
