Job Summary
The Master Data Mgmt Analyst II oversees key processes and projects associated with the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of one or more critical master data (MD) domains. Considered a content expert in one domain.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for corporate MD configuration and data quality across applications and a complex integrated landscape (10%).
- Applies all functions and utilization of company's MD policies and procedures within established MD domains globally (20%).
- Configures Columbia Sportswear's MD MGMT application, win shuttle scripts, and Integration Cross Reference Tables; seasonally configures data elements in JDE and SAP to support operational needs (25%).
- Leverages MD expertise to manage and solve data quality issues; accountable for quick resolution to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information (25%).
- Provides recommendations to internal and external partners related to MD for process enhancement, seasonal initiatives, and other projects as needed (5%).
- Analyzes data to increase quality as it relates to accuracy, completeness, consistency, integrity, timeliness, conformity, and validity; verifies accuracy of data across the system landscape (5%).
- Uses analytical tools and routines to maintain and improve the quality and integrity of the company's enterprise MD files (5%).
- Performs other duties as assigned (5%).
Qualifications
- 1 or more domain expertise (Vendor Master, Customer Master, Material Master, Pricing Discounts).
- ERP exposure: SAP S4/HANA.
- Power BI (good to have).
- Advanced Excel (Macros) (good to have).
- Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience.
- Typically requires 4–5+ years of professional experience; general proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job.
- Proficiency with Excel, SAP (or similar scale ERP), Product Data Management System (PDM or similar scale PLM), SQL, and master data management.
- Working knowledge of the principles, practices, and concepts within own job discipline; has broadened capability through practical experience in applying theories.
- Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end Product, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Retail, and financial processes helpful.
- Supply chain background helpful.
- Global business work experience preferred.
