Job summary

Nordex India Group Lead - Master Data Governance will head the data governance team in Chennai, overseeing data creation, changes, and compliance with global standards across SAP/Teamcenter ecosystems.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Material Management, Finance and IT to improve data quality, automate processes, and drive reporting consistency using AI-enabled tools and Power BI. Strong leadership and English fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• Academic background in business/SCM or related field with Master’s preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MDM, SAP and data analytics tools like Power BI, BW; AI-enabled automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational team for data creation/change and ensure global standard compliance.
• Bridge between operations and governance for master data.

Group Lead - Master Data Governance

Your Tasks :

Lead the operational team to manage data creation and change and ensure compliance with global standards for material master data Key bridge between the operational team and the material master data governance Enhance data standards and leverage AI-driven solutions to improve master data quality, governance, reporting consistency, and process automation across Teamcenter and SAP Manage and enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams in close collaboration with Engineering, Material Management, Finance, Service and IT Teams across multiple countries.

Required Profile:

Academic degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Know-how in MDM tools (SAP), MS Office and experience with data analytics solutions such as Power BI, BW and AI-enabled tools. Understanding of AI, Generative AI, and their application in data management, governance, and process automation High level of quality awareness, teamworker and solution orientation, clear and structured communication Very good skills in English. 8+ years of experience in master data management with a strong background in SAP S4 HANA. 5 years leader experience, experience with data analytics, process automation, or AI-supported business solutions is considered an advantage.
