Role Snapshot:
Position: Manager Offline Marketing (Pan India)
Location: Pune (work from office), regular travel to centres across India
Reports to: Senior Manager Marketing
Team: 2 direct reports – Offline Marketing - AMs (North India – Noida, South India – Hyderabad)
Experience: 7-10 years offline / BTL / field marketing, brand side
Responsibilities
- Own the national offline marketing plan – city-wise, centre-wise activities and budget allocation for Rs 1 Cr+ annual budget; present to Senior Manager – Marketing for approval, then execute.
- Drive footfall (centre visits) as primary KPI – visible impact within first 60 days.
- Manage two regional offline marketing AMs – set monthly activity calendars, targets; review execution quality.
- Personally lead offline marketing for Maharashtra (Pune and wider state expansion); support new market entry in Chennai and Hyderabad.
- Plan and execute full offline mix: society / RWA activations, mall and park activations, school tie-ups, apartment sampling, local print and hoardings, auto, corporate tie-ups for daycare leads, centre events (open days, workshops).
- Work with COCO and FOCO centres – direct execution for company-operated centres; guide and influence franchise partners on local marketing.
- Build measurement discipline – every activity tagged, every spend mapped to visits generated; monthly cost-per-visit reporting by city and activity type.
- Manage local vendors (printers, fabricators, activation agencies, event suppliers) – negotiate rates, ensure quality, prevent leakage.
- Open to Travel to NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, Maharashtra centres based on the need.
Not This Role
- Not digital marketing – GMB, local digital, performance marketing handled by a separate team.
- Not an events-agency role – not hiring someone who only executed events for clients.
- Not pure strategy – plans AND executes on the ground.
Preferred candidate profile
- 7-10 years Offline / BTL / field / catchment marketing on the BRAND side (not agency) in a footfall-driven business – preschool / K-12 chains, QSR, retail chains, clinics / diagnostics, real estate, banking branch marketing or similar.
- Multi-city or multi-outlet experience – planned and run local marketing for many locations at once.
- Budget ownership – planned and controlled an annual offline budget of at least Rs 1 Cr.
- People management – field executives or area marketing staff have reported to you.
- Footfall accountability – carried a walk-in / visit / footfall target and can explain how you moved it.
- Based in Pune; familiarity with Maharashtra markets is a big plus.
- Someone who knows how to get permissions from private/ government authorities and can take ownership of execution and ensure the collaterals aren't taken off.
- Comfortable with a structured approval system – plan, present, get sign-off, execute.
