Job summary

Straight Growth is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager who will help develop, implement, and manage our digital marketing campaigns while also contributing to WordPress development. The role demands hands-on work with WordPress + WooCommerce, PHP, and OOP to create themes and plugins from scratch, and to integrate HubSpot with websites.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and possess 2–3 years of experience as a WordPress developer, with debugging

• Proficient in PHP and object-oriented programming.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building the website front-end.
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
• Creating custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Conducting website performance tests.
• Troubleshooting website issues.
• Monitoring the performance of the live website.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest WordPress and web development trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members, and provide regular updates and project status reports.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current marketing trends and be able to create innovative strategies to drive traffic and engagement to our website.

Requirements:

• Should have 2+ years of experience in WordPress and WooCommerce.
• Skilled in PHP & Object-Oriented Programming.
• Expert in all aspects of WordPress + WooCommerce including the development of custom themes and plugins from scratch.
• Team spirit: strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
• Proven 2-3 years of work experience as a WordPress developer.
• Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Knowledge of Hubspot and third-party tools integration with website and Hubspot.
