Role Purpose:

The Marketing and Placement Officer is responsible for increasing salon customer walk-ins, promoting salon services, and ensuring on-the-job training (OJT) and job placement for trained students. The role combines field marketing, employer coordination, and providing placement and tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

Salon Marketing & Customer Walk-ins

• Increase customer walk-ins and service uptake at the salon in Vadodara through field promotion and local marketing.


• Plan and execute local promotions, outreach drives, and community-level activities.


• Build tie-ups with residential societies, offices, institutes, hostels, and local groups.


• Coordinate seasonal offers, campaigns, and special promotion drives.


• Track daily and monthly walk-in data and report results.

Salon Promotion (Vadodara)

• Promote salon services through events, camps, exhibitions, melas, and stalls within Vadodara.


• Coordinate with the salon team to ensure smooth execution of promotional activities.


• Support visibility through banners, flyers, referrals, and local advertising.


• Represent the salon at local networking and community platforms

Student OJT & Placement

• Identify salons, clinics, and beauty institutions in Vadodara for OJT and placements.


• Place students in OJT immediately after training completion.


• Arrange interviews, trials, and joining formalities with employers.


• Ensure final job placement after successful OJT completion.


• Follow up with students and employers to address attendance, performance, and retention issues.

Employer Coordination

• Develop and maintain a database of beauty and wellness employers in Vadodara.


• Conduct regular employer visits and meetings.


• Organise placement drives and employer interaction sessions.


• Collect employer feedback and placement confirmations.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain records of walk-ins, marketing activities, On-the-Job Training (OJT), and placements.


• Submit monthly reports on targets versus achievements.


• Support internal reviews, audits, and reporting requirements.


• Perform any other task assigned by the Line Manager / DFT Representative.

Education & required work experience:

• Graduate or Postgraduate in Marketing, Management, Social Work, or related field.


• 2–4 years’ experience in field marketing, placements, or vocational training.


• Strong local knowledge of Vadodara.


• Willingness to work in the field and meet targets.


• Good communication skills in Gujarati, Hindi, and basic English.

Experience in beauty, wellness, retail, or service sector preferred.
