Your role is to deliver actionable market insights that help category managers and sourcing teams make informed, competitive and future-ready decisions. You will research industry trends, analyse supplier landscapes, support supplier discovery and benchmark competitors to uncover opportunities for cost optimisation, innovation, and risk mitigation.You will collect and synthesise data from multiple external sources including market reports, supplier databases, pricing benchmarks, and industry publications. This will help you provide clear, accurate and relevant insights to your procurement stakeholders. A key part of your role will be preparing dashboards and reports that translate complex market data into practical recommendations for procurement stakeholders. By combining analytical rigor with a deep understanding of market dynamics, you will enable smarter category strategies and supplier discovery initiatives.Key Accountabilities:Conduct market and industry research to identify trends, supplier landscapes and competitive benchmarksPerform company profiling and supplier discovery to support sourcing strategiesAnalyse pricing trends and competitor data to inform negotiation strategiesProvide actionable insights to support category planning and sourcing decisionsValidate and synthesise data from multiple external sources for accuracy and relevancePrepare reports and dashboards summarizing market intelligence for procurement stakeholdersCollaborate with category managers and sourcing teams to align research outputs with business needMaintain a repository of market intelligence and ensure timely updatesMonitor emerging trends and risks that could impact supply marketsSupport continuous improvement of research methodologies and toolsKey Experiences and Qualifications:+3 years of experience in market research, analytics, or procurement intelligenceStrong understanding of supplier markets, industry trends and competitive analysisExperience working in aerospace or defence, or other complex manufacturing industryFamiliarity with procurement processes and category management principlesUnderstanding of procurement policies, governance frameworks and compliance assessments related to aerospace and defenceExtensive experience in data analytics and advanced data visualisation toolsWorking knowledge of SAP, Ivalua, CoupaDemonstrated experience in delivering excellent customer service and influencing othersProven track record in delivering business results and achieving objectives Our vision is to ensure that the excellence and ingenuity that shaped our history continues into our future.
