Job summary

Marutee Design & Engineering Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru seeks an Engineer – Electrical & Wiring Harness with 5–8 years of automotive/EV LV harness experience. Design and validate the 48 V traction and 12 V auxiliary electrical architecture for a four‑wheel electric cargo vehicle.

You will size wires, fuses and relays, route in 3D, and prepare schematics, connector pin-outs and fuse/relay schedules, while coordinating with lighting, HMI, telematics and switches for power-up checks.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in automotive/EV wiring harness and low‑voltage architecture.
• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics required.
• Experience designing and sizing LV cables, fuses and connectors.

Responsibilities

• Define 48 V / 12 V architecture: 35 mm² cables, DC‑DC input, 12 V main supply, 200 A main fuse.
• Size wires, fuses and relays; lay out the fuse box and connector families.
• Route the harness in 3D with clip, grommet and bend-radius rules; separate 48 V and 12 V runs.
• Prepare wiring schematics, 2D harness drawings, pin-outs and fuse/relay schedules.
• Integrate lighting, horn, HMI, telematics and switches; support power-up checks.

About the role

Design the 48 V traction and 12 V auxiliary electrical architecture and wiring harness of a four-wheel electric cargo vehicle.

Key responsibilities

• Define the 48 V / 12 V architecture: 35 mm² battery-to-controller cables, DC-DC converter input, 12 V main supply, 200 A main fuse, contactor and motor controller harness.
• Size wires, fuses and relays; lay out the fuse box and connector families.
• Route the harness in 3D with clip, grommet and bend-radius rules, separating 48 V and 12 V runs.
• Prepare wiring schematics, 2D harness drawings, connector pin-outs and fuse/relay schedules.
• Integrate lighting, horn, HMI, telematics and switches; support vehicle power-up and integration checks.
